Sapsucker Farms
Apples

In 2007 we added 41 new apple trees to our orchard, so we now have a total of 50 trees. We have a total of 36 different varieties of apples, all of which are hearty, Northern varieties.

We have planted a broad range of varieties that are great for cider, baking, sauces, and of course, eating. All of our trees are organically raised, and are standard-sized trees. That means that we will not have any apples to harvest until about 2010, but we are happy to patiently wait for them. Yet another delectable treat that nature has to offer.

In the meantime, check out our photo album and watch them grow. In a few years, we’ll have plenty of apples to share.
